Ms. Lena received her ballet training in Volgograd Russia from one of the graduates of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, Mme Tatiana. While ms. Lena changed her mind about professional dancing and chose medical school instead, she danced while in med school, and as an adult. During her years as a teacher in Tahlequah, Ms. Lena has taken several continuous education courses with Vaganova teachers and has always taught what she considers the best system of ballet training in the world. Your dancers will be in the hands of a n experienced, thoughtful and loving teacher, who will lead by example and will inspire your dancers to reach new heights and teach the lessons that will go past studio life.

Regardless of your future ambitions in the area of dance, you will receive the same attentive training in Vaganova ballet system. Amateur students are not expected to follow a set classes, but will be expected to participate in all ballet classes to their best ability and will be always encouraged to continue improving and reaching new heights.
When your instructor considers you ready, you will be offered a pointe readiness test and if you pass the test, you will be invited to participate in pointe class. After achieving a certain level, your dancer will be ready for variations class and performing solos en pointe!
